Caitríona is best known for her leading role as Claire in the Sony/Starz international hit series OUTLANDER, for which she won a Scottish BAFTA, an IFTA and four Golden Globe nominations for Best Actress. Further television credits include Netflix’s DARK CRYSTAL prequel and the mini-series THE BEAUTY INSIDE.
Caitríona starred in Kenneth Branagh’s Oscar and BAFTA winning feature film BELFAST which earned her a BAFTA nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Her other film credits include the Oscar winning feature film FORD v FERRARI, MONEY MONSTER, ESCAPE PLAN, NOW YOU SEE ME and CRUSH. Most recently she appeared in the Sean Ellis feature THE CUT and 20th Century’s thriller THE AMATEUR.
She will next be seen in the eighth and final series of OUTLANDER and feature film SENSE and SENSIBILITY, directed by Georgia Oakley for Working Title and Focus Features.
